What Are MRPs?
MRPs are organized, deployable units consisting of personnel, equipment, and supplies tailored to specific emergency response tasks. Each package includes trained volunteers and the resources they need to operate autonomously for a designated period, ensuring that they can provide immediate support without placing a strain on local resources.
Why MRPs Matter
- Standardized and Scalable: MRPs are developed according to our capacity, making them compatible with local, and state, response systems.
- Rapid Deployment: With pre-identified resources and trained volunteers, MRPs ensure that help can arrive where it’s needed most, quickly and efficiently.
- Community Impact: By addressing specific needs, MRPs enhance the resilience and recovery of our communities during challenging times.
